A small holiday resort 120 km from Moscow for family and corporate recreation. Cabin and A-frame rentals with plunge pools and a wood-fired Russian bath. Glamping with a hot tub. Pond fishing, gazebos with barbecues, a summer pool, a playground, and an eco-farm.
The old website had no online booking option, it did not fully reflect the resort’s concept, and was insufficiently informative. Visitors could not find answers to their questions, and the visual style was severely outdated.
Provide users with the ability to book online. Create a schematic showing the resort layout and facility locations, and provide detailed accommodation descriptions.
Develop a website for Russian vacationers. Integrate a booking module. Show the facility locations, feature real photos of the resort, and describe all the eco-hotel’s services and offerings.
Primarily B2C and partly B2B. Vacationers from the European part of Russia, families with children, or corporate employees. Outdoor recreation enthusiasts with a middle income level.

Tasks and solutions
The client wanted guests to be able to book directly on the website without phone calls. So we integrated a convenient booking module. Reservations can be made from any page on the site
The resort’s website structure turned out clean and easy to navigate. Rather than splitting “Services” into multiple pages, we created one compact page with services, prices, and booking buttons.
To show how the cabins and other facilities are positioned across the resort, we decided to create an appealing interactive map rather than a simple diagram. It holds users’ attention, gives an overview of the eco-hotel’s layout, and helps visitors navigate the grounds. All facilities are clearly distinguishable, with tooltips appearing on click.
For each accommodation type, we created a card with a detailed description, pricing, and a booking button.
Nothing is more compelling for tourists than real photos of their prospective vacation spot. We dedicated a separate page to the photo gallery.
In the copy, we described the services in detail, highlighted the advantages of the Tarusa Life eco-hotel, and explained why it suits both families with children and corporate groups. We anticipated potential questions and answered them on a dedicated FAQ page.
We built the site on a light background, adding grass and wood colors. We designed a custom background pattern to match.

Create an attractive design
We built the site on a light background, adding grass and wood colors. We designed a custom background pattern to match.
Ensure mobile and tablet versions
During front-end development, we paid great attention to adapting the site for all screen sizes. It displays correctly on any device.
Spark interest in the culture and history of the Tarusa region
Through blog articles, we showcased even more benefits of vacationing at Tarusa Life. From there, guests can book excursions to the literary landmarks of Tarusa or attend one of the year-round festivals held in the area.
Improve behavioral metrics
Although the site has few pages, users began spending more time browsing: viewing photos of the grounds, cabins, and the petting farm, exploring the interactive map, reviewing services and prices, reading blog articles, and filling out the booking form. The bounce rate decreased.
Increase website traffic and bookings through SEO
We managed to improve the website’s search engine rankings for target keywords. The number of guests at the Tarusa Life eco-hotel increased.
Results
The website has been launched and displays correctly on all device screens. An online booking module has been integrated, significantly simplifying the reservation process. A visually appealing and user-friendly interactive resort map has been added. Thanks to on-page SEO optimization, the website achieved higher search engine rankings, resulting in increased organic traffic. Users now spend more time on the site and interact with it more actively. The eco-hotel website has become an additional sales channel.
